Steps to receive large files from a client
- 01
Open Workspace → Received
Sign in and go to the Received area.
- 02
Create a receive link
Name it after the client or project so you can find it later.
- 03
Tell the client what you need
Send the link with the file types, naming rules, and deadline.
- 04
Let the client upload
They open the link, choose files, and send them without seeing your workspace.
- 05
Check the files and close the link
Confirm the files open. Disable the link when the job is finished.
The client opens the receive link in a browser, chooses files, and uploads without entering your private workspace or creating an account.
A few things that matter
Be specific
A short list of required files prevents missing items and confusing names.
Use a separate link for each client
This keeps projects apart and lets you close one link without affecting another.
Confirm receipt
Tell the client when you have opened the files so they know it is safe to move on.
Questions people ask
Can the client see my other files?
No.
Can I reuse the link?
Yes, while it is active. A separate link is usually clearer for a new project.
Choose your files and follow the steps above.
