Steps to connect TransferSize with WebDAV

    Check your account

    Sign in with a verified paid account.

  2. 02

    Open Account Security

    Find WebDAV credentials and create an app password for this device.

  3. 03

    Copy the password

    It is shown once. Save it in the app's secure password store.

  4. 04

    Add the server

    Enter the WebDAV address shown in TransferSize, your account email, and the app password.

  5. 05

    Try a small download

    Open a folder and download a small file before relying on it for larger work.

What the connected app sees

The app can list and download files from your TransferSize account. It cannot upload, move, rename, or delete them.

A few things that matter

Read-only means read-only

You can list and download files. Upload, rename, move, and delete are blocked.

Use one password per device

If a device is lost, revoke only that device's password.

If it stops working

Check that the account is still verified and on a paid plan, then check the address and password.

Can Finder or Explorer upload files?

No. The current WebDAV connection is read-only.

What is the server address?

Use the value shown in Account Security. The public endpoint is webdav.transfersize.com.
